| There are a lot of phishing emails and website out there.
And you probably have received real looking emails from citibank, ebay, etc. where they ask you to verify your password or something.
They mostly provide a convenient link in the (HTML) email.
To check where those links point is very easy in Apple Mail.
Under View > Message > Raw Source you find a function to view the raw HTML of the email.
Also easy available under OPTION-COMMAND-U. | | |

| How to resolve an "Error 1282" alert in Print Center (Mac OS X 10.2) or Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X 10.3 Panther).
Print Center or Printer Setup Utility print queues disappear when you try to add a printer and you see an alert box with this message:
(Mac OS X 10.2) "An error occurred while trying to add the selected printers. Error 1282"
(Mac OS X 10.3) "server-error-service-unavailable Error 1282"
You must be logged in as an Admin user. Follow these steps:

Open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/).

At the prompt type: cd /var/spool/

Press Return.

Type: sudo mkdir cups
-
Press Return.
-
Type your Admin user password when prompted, then press Return.

Type: sudo chown daemon:admin cups
-
Press Return.
-
Type: sudo chmod 700 cups
-
Press Return.
-
Quit Terminal.
-
Restart the computer.
After a restart the print queues will reappear.
